Kirpal Meditation and Ecological Center (KMEC) in Pahoa, Hawai’i, offers a wonderful spiritual uplifting environment to heal and grow. Located a half mile from the beach, this sanctuary has access to swimming, fresh fruits, thermal ponds and the newest black sand beach in the world created by the 2018 lava flow.

KMEC is designed to be able to serve individuals and groups with a variety of retreats. Our full service staff can assist you with designing the retreat of your dreams in the areas of Yoga, Surf and Yoga, Meditation and Spirituality, and Holistic Nutrition and Detox. 2 Separate Private Cabins Sleep 4 each, with Ocean and Lava Field Views - Each Includes Private Bath

Both Lava Field Vista 1 and 2 are brand new construction. These 20’ x 24’ spacious cabins boast a beautiful screened in porch offering spectacular views of the new lava fields with an ocean backdrop. Each 14’ x 14’ bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed, 2 bunk beds, closet, desk and private bathroom.

Each cabin has curtains for privacy and the windows are all screens, no glass. Cabins are on a raised platform for better viewing. There is a double door entry for extra security and privacy, with a door into cabin and another door into room.

rollinia | $125

Private Cabins Sleep 4, with a Queen Mattress and Twin Bunk

Catch your breath from the hustle and bustle in the serenity of our charming Rollinia cabin, offering a queen bed and a twin bunks. Great for families! The tranquil and airy Rollinia is one of the larger cabins on the property providing bedding for up to four and its own spacious personal balcony overlooking the heart of the community. It is located just across from the community kitchen with easy access to the dining lanai as well as restrooms.

Noni | $125

Private Cabins Sleep 2 with Wrap-Around Porch - Includes Private Bath

Noni is a large luxurious cabin in the back of the property surrounded by noni and avocado trees. The only cabin with both its own bathroom, perfect for one or two people. Noni has an expansive wrapping porch that leads to the private restroom and shower behind the cabin. The interior has plenty of storage.

Mango | $125

Private Cabins Sleep 4, with one Queen Mattress and a Twin Bunk

The newly renovated octagonal Mango cabin can house up to four people with its comfortable queen mattress and twin bunk beds. The cabin is conveniently located next to all the community resources including the kitchen and restrooms. Built with extra comfort in mind it features 360-degree windows, and a covered seating area overlooking the orchard. This is a great cabin for those wanting to be close to the kitchen and still have privacy within your own space. Hot showers and bathrooms are right next door.

Private Cabins Sleeps 1-2 with Queen Bed

This is a cozy, cute, and private ground level walk-in cabin surrounded with flowers and plants to sweeten the view. The lovely Lilikoi cabin has a comfortable queen bed for one to two people. A private yet open space with immediate access to restrooms as-well as the dining area.

The Cacao cabin is the perfect space for one or two with its queen bed and personal elevated porch. Close to the kitchen and bathrooms, and surrounded by cacao trees.

This 12X12 Jungle Viewing Room with deck and queen bed has a phenomenal surreal views overlooking the newest lava flow of the big island! It gives a panoramic view of the coastline. You will have access to the Yoga Hale right out your door. Trade Winds escort the freshest air on the planet right into your room. This room offers a spacious lanai (deck) and one of the only rooms within WiFi range.

MILO 1 | $80

Private Cabin Sleeps 1, with Twin Mattress and Porch

If you are looking for a quiet and simple getaway, this is it. Our newly constructed Milo Orchard Single Bed mini cabin is small and simple, but always dry and comfy inside with a single bed. It is secluded in our milo forest orchard and has a new deck not pictured for relaxing or stargazing.

Milo 2 is larger with a bed for one or two and its own covered porch. Perfect for a getaway as it is secluded in the middle of the our milo orchard. Simple and relaxing accommodations with the sound of surf in the distance!

Smaller cozy cabin for one right next to the Yoga Hale. Has a new small sitting porch (not pictured) out front for reading or stargazing. Easy access to the restrooms and dining area/kitchen.
